Clymer Manuals 1960 Cushman Super Eagle 1971 1972 Honda Trail 70 Classic Vintage Motorcycle Video

http://www.clymer.com Clymer Manuals 1960 Cushman Super Eagle 1971 1972 Honda Trail 70 Antique Classic Vintage Motorcycle. Restoration interview with the owner at the Heart of America Motorcycle Enthusiasts Show Rally. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C... Cushman Company operated from 1903 to 2003. The company was started in Lincoln, Nebraska by Everett and Clinton Cushman. The company officially incorporated as Cushman Motor Works in 1913. Until 1936 it produced engines for farm equipment, pumps, lawn mowers and boats. From 1936 till 1965 it produced motor scooters, widely used by the US military in World War II and as alternative to automobiles before and after the war. The most successful model of Cushman scooter, the Eagle...resembled motorcycles with exposed engine and top tank. Other Cushman models used a step-through design common for scooters and used by Vespa to develop their iconic range. Some late 50s Cushmans, designated Road King and Pacemaker, had jet-age body styling. Sears sold a version of these models under the Allstate brand. One famous Cushman was the model 53, a military model from the World War II era. Designed to be dropped by parachute with Army Airborne troops, it became known as the Cushman Airborne. Cushman Trucksters were produced from 1958 to 2002. Small and light duty, they have been used for ice cream sales, mall and stadium maintenance, and by police for parking patrol. http://www.motorcycle.com/foru... 1958 Cushman Motors of Lincoln Nebraska shocked the scooter world when they released the Super Eagle, a hopped up version of the standard Eagle that sported big valves, a ram induction intake manifold, 1/4 inch larger Tillotson M52 carb, high lift long duration camshaft and a compression ratio of 10.1 that required a kickstart actuated compression release. The Cushman ran a precision motor that used an oil pump for the connecting rod, and diesel type piston cooler that squirted a jet of oil on the underside of the piston at TDC. The crankshaft mains ran on oversized tapered roller bearings, with the rest of the motor being splash lubricated. A special low restriction exhaust manifold made from aluminum and finned for heat dissipation labeled the motor as a Super Eagle powerplant. http://www.cushmanclubofameric... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H... Honda ST-series minibikes are known as the Dax in Europe, the Trail 70 in Canada and the USA, and the Daschund in Japan. The ST70 was exported to Canada and the USA as the CT70. The CT70 is mechanically unrelated to other CT-series bikes such as the CT50 Motra, and the CT50, CT90 & CT110 Trail Cubs. The ST90 was sold in the USA as the Trailsport, and was not given a CT designation.A key feature of the ST-series is the pressed-steel "T-bone" frame that distinguishes it from Honda's other minibikes: the Z50 Monkey & Gorilla, the Ape, the CF50 & CF70, and the CY50 & CY80 Nautydax.M310 Online Manual http://clymer.com/Book.aspx?bi...
