i thought that was the original plan for the tablet in general. to be able to not only surf the web, watch videos and play games, i thought we were already using them as textbooks. man was i way ahead in thought 3 years ago.

I'm getting textbooks each semester for at least $230 total for only like 7 or 8 books. If apple could get major textbook companies to do this as well as the small companies (ex teachers, individual writers) this would be huge! Paying $100 total instead of paying $15 for one $120 for one $70 for one which is just insane. No doubt who ever makes this happen will own the textbook industry forever or until others are able to catch up if they ever will! I'm hoping I'm in college still if apple does

you know, if the school really cared about the students, they would post! the books for current students so new students can buy! But no, THEY not only want to gauge you for tuition, they want to make a killing on the books too!

50? I tried selling my 130.00 textbook back to the school book store, and they offered me $20! And Im with you, I just opted to keep the ones I cant get much for.
